Compromising Positions

     Recently the President of Exodus International, a Christian organization that assists gay people who wish to renounce their lifestyle, blinked.  It had been a long-standing principle of this organization that an actively gay lifestyle is simply not conducive to a successful Christian life.  His new position is one that claims you may continue to actively pursue this lifestyle yet remain in God’s sovereignty.  What’s the problem with this seemingly agreeable philosophy?  Nothing except that it is flat out unscriptural.  It is in direct opposition to all references in the Bible surrounding this issue.  But, in the name of societal pressures and political correctness, the original “extremist” position has now been watered down to a bland pabulum so it tastes good for every palate.  Like most societal issues today, we tell God what our human reasoning thinks is right, and we expect that He will follow along with us like an obedient lapdog.

     In 2011 “megachurch” pastor, Rob Bell, wrote a best-selling book entitled “Love Wins”.  In his book, Bell flirts dangerously close to an ecumenical position of insipid apostasy.  While he doesn’t quite “come out” and say it, the inference of the book is—“Perhaps all roads lead to salvation.”  Sounds so harmonius, doesn’t it?  If this is the new policy of his self-proclaimed “Emergent” church, one should wonder from under which rock it “emerged”.     

     Now, I realize that our societal climate today is one of inclusiveness.  I myself find internal conflict in my desire to just “get along”, as in the infamous words of Rodney King, with relatives, friends and neighbors.  Unfortunately, this position is nowhere to be found in the Bible.  We are called a “peculiar” & “called out” people (1 Peter 2:9).  The road is “narrow” (Matthew 7:14) and the likening the Kingdom of God to “the eye of a needle” is found mentioned THREE times (Matt 19:24, Mark 10:25, Luke 18:25).  This frequency is meant as an underscore to us from God himself as in (!!!).

     As a Christian, we are to use Jesus as our role model.  He was utterly unpopular, rejected and eventually crucified.  Why should we expect popularity and acclaim?

Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.  If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

Yet in the name of mass appeal and best-selling novels, we continue to cave in. 

     We see this scenario played out today in the Geo-Political landscape in the land of Israel.  To placate and “get along” with the Palestinians and the worldwide community, Israel must keep “backing up” in terms of their borders.  As it is, they only control a miniscule portion of the planet in terms of their Arabic counterparts.  This, apparently, is never enough.  Nothing less than “wiping them off the face of the earth” is acceptable and has been clearly stated by many Islamic leaders.  Why don’t we believe it when these leaders bluntly and openly state this as their objective?  Israel is called a “tumor” that needs to be excised and its people swept into the ocean.  We MUST take an object lesson from watching this pressure on the Jews.  As God’s Old Testament covenantal people, they are constantly barraged on all sides by those wishing to limit their influence.  Why are we surprised that this is the ultimate evil desire for Christians as well? Remember, Hitler’s “final solution”?  He would not accept anything less besides complete and total obliteration.  So when we water down our beliefs in the name of “accommodation”, we are simply hastening our own demise.   

     In the TV documentary on Exodus International, Lisa Ling, the journalist conducting the interview, actually made this incredibly revealing statement:  “There are only 6 places in the Bible where God prohibits homosexuality”.  This remark struck me as a complete absurdity.  With incredulity I thought:  How many did she want?  What was the “magic number” for her to take God’s word seriously?  It would seem that if GOD himself said just once “Don’t do this”, and then went on to explain that it is a serious sin that causes death, one might sit up and take notice.  While I have deep empathy for the many sweet and caring people that I have met in my life ensnared by this lifestyle, I am still not prepared to say they have gotten it right and God is wrong.  I don’t wish to see them persecuted by society, yet neither do I wish to sanction their relationships with the holy sacrament of marriage.

     Ultimately, if taken to its logical conclusion, the rejection of God’s man/woman marriage plan results in the death of all mankind.  This is the penultimate “sanctity of life” violation as the human race would be unable to procreate in direct conflict to God’s commands to “be fruitful and multiply”.    

     As a sanctity of life advocate, I can see clearly how each compromise made over the years since Roe v. Wade has only lead us down a path of greater and more radically dangerous social change—up to an including the abomination of “partial birth” abortion and “sex selection” abortion.  There is no inviolable “line in the sand” with evil.  How much is enough compromise with wrongdoing?  Like Israel’s border struggles

So…the next time some politically correct politician or some wishy-washy evangelical preacher says we need to compromise in order to have accord with our neighbors—Ask them:

It's Black and White

There’s a really interesting psychological condition known as “Stockholm syndrome”.  For those who do not remember the Stockholm bank robbery in 1973, from which this condition gets its name, the kidnapped abductees, after spending much time with their captors, actually began to support and align with their abductors.  Psychologists speculated that the non-stop barrage of stress that occurs in a violent hostage situation causes an external struggle that needs an internal resolution.  The mind’s defensive psychological response is to adopt the values or causes of the aggressor in order to reconcile their minds to the high tension levels. 

I often wonder if a bizarre mutation of this psychological condition is now happening on a wide scale today within the Black community.  Blacks have first been victimized by slavery and are now under a mind-blowing assault to their race by the ravages of abortion.  Statistics indicate that as many as 57% of black babies are eradicated in the womb before they ever get to see the light of day.  A recent billboard in a black community attested to this truth:  “The most dangerous place in the world for a black child—the womb”—It was removed after much public outcry.  Sometimes Truth is difficult to accept.    

But here’s the amazing part of this whole situation.  Blacks ardently support Planned Parenthood and the politicians who enable this organization.  I think if the history of Planned Parenthood was more publicized, perhaps the Black community would come to realize that this is the moral equivalent of supporting the Ku Klux Klan.   Using the Planned Parenthood model, the Ku Klux Klan would no longer have to lynch blacks—just teach them how to lynch themselves.  They would simply need to re-sell their organization as a free “Equestrian Tree Limb Lassoing Lessons”.    

In my last blog “What’s in a Name”, I noted the creepy name connotations of Planned Parenthood’s founder Margaret Higgins Sanger.  I have since unearthed that her father was an atheist who created tombstones for a living—can she get any creepier?  However, I realize some people will dismiss that information out of hand because of its spiritual and subjective nature, which is understandable.  Therefore, this blog will be dedicated to hard core facts about the organization that is exponentially thousands of times worse than the Ku Klux Klan in its decimation of the Black race.   

So—let’s begin and let’s not mince words in the name of political correctness.

Margaret Sanger, based on her own writings, was clearly a blatant racist and genocidal lunatic.  Like the Nazi’s, she believed that some races were more “pure” than others.  Of course, HER race (whites) she considered to be far more superior then darker skinned races.  She was a proponent of “eugenics”.   Eugenics is using the application of science to “improve” the genetics of a population.  This literally meant eradicating, through any reproductive means possible, the poor, the disabled and less “preferred” races.  She believed in forced sterilizations for these less desirable peoples.  She particularly wanted to reduce the amount of the black population whom she considered to be inferior.  Sanger was even a guest lecturer at several Ku Klux Klan meetings where, as you can imagine, she was well received. 

But since this is an article about Truth, I don’t want any information to be interpreted as “Spin”.  Therefore, I will let Margaret Higgins Sanger speak for herself.  Please settle in for a eye-opening, somewhat lengthy read.  She is so virulent and hateful in her writings, that it was difficult to just select a few of her statements.  If you want to have your eyeballs explode—then I suggest you read her entire book: “The Pivot of Civilization” It is her genocidal, evil and hate-filled diatribe on the now white-washed and worshipped subject of “birth control”.  Even the title of her work should make your hair stand on end.  Truly this is a diabolic woman who wishes to “pivot civilization” into a scary hell where no sane human being should ever tread.  Planned Parenthood’s “canonizing” of this woman should leave no doubt as to the malevolent roots of their organization.  Here are her views in her own words:

“The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.”

“The grosser, the more obvious, the undeniably feeble-minded should, indeed, not only be discouraged but prevented from propagating their kind.”

“we are paying for and even submitting to the dictates of an ever increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.”

“Always to me any aroused group was a good group, and therefore I accepted an invitation to talk to the women's branch of the Ku Klux Klan.”…” A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.”

“All of our problems are the result of overbreeding among the working class.”

“Our 'overhead' expense in segregating the delinquent, the defective and the dependent, in prisons, asylums and permanent homes, our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying ... demonstrate our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism.”

Regarding the Church: “As currently constituted, [the Church seems] to-day organized to exploit the ignorance and the prejudices of the masses, rather than to light their way to self-salvation.”

“It is not without significance that the moron and the imbecile set the pace in living up to this teaching [sanctity of life teachings], and that the intellectuals, the educators, the archbishops, bishops, priests, who are most insistent on it, are the staunchest adherents in their own lives of celibacy and non-fertility.”

“The example of the inferior classes, the fertility of the feeble-minded, the mentally defective, the poverty-stricken, should not be held up for emulation to the mentally and physically fit, and therefore less fertile, parents of the educated and well-to-do classes.”

On the contrary, the most urgent problem to-day is how to limit and discourage the over-fertility of the mentally and physically defective. Possibly drastic and Spartan methods may be forced upon American society if it continues complacently to encourage the chance and chaotic breeding that has resulted from our stupid, cruel sentimentalism.

“Authorities tell us that 75 per cent of the school-children are defective. This means that no less than fifteen million schoolchildren, out of 22,000,000 in the United States, are physically or mentally below par”

 (AUTHORS NOTE:  Remember she advocates the ELIMINATION, SEGREGATION and FORCED STERILIZATION of the “defective”—This would mean, by her own measure, 75% OF ALL CHILDREN). 

“To-morrow, we shall be forced to pay for our ruthless disregard of our surplus children of to-day.”

“There is but one practical and feasible program in handling the great problem of the feeble-minded. That is, as the best authorities are agreed, to prevent the birth of those who would transmit imbecility to their descendants.”

“The emergency problem of segregation and sterilization must be faced immediately. Every feeble-minded girl or woman of the hereditary type, especially of the moron class, should be segregated during the reproductive period.”

She has an ENTIRE CHAPTER entitled: “The Cruelty of Charity”. (Can you imagine???!!!!!)—you should be sick to your stomach at the quotes from this chapter:

“Organized charity itself is the symptom of a malignant social disease.”

“our eyes should be opened to the terrific cost to the community of this dead weight of human waste.”

She envisioned her own utopian idea of a humanistic “Garden of Eden”:

“At the present time, civilized nations are penalizing talent and genius, the bearers of the torch of civilization, to coddle and perpetuate the choking human undergrowth, which, as all authorities tell us, is escaping control and threatens to overrun the whole garden of humanity.”

“Let us conceive for the moment at least, a world not burdened by the weight of dependent and delinquent classes, a total population of mature, intelligent, critical and expressive men and women.”

I urge you, dear reader, at this point to go on the Internet and download a free copy of her book “The Pivot of Civilization”.  I realize it is lengthy, but you must read it to see the entire madness of this demented woman.  An atheist, she goes on to explain how she plans to bring on her vision of “heaven on earth”.  Why such hatred against the Church and so many religious references?--Because she wants us to adopt HER version of religious ecstasy on earth--An orgiastic ecstasy of the slaughter and decimation of “inferior” humans. 

It is almost an understatement to state the obvious:  This type of philosophy is not only reprehensible from a human standpoint, it also seriously violates our Judeo-Christian foundational beliefs.  As Americans it is also in direct opposition to our “open arms” immigration policy. Compare Margaret Sanger’s twisted thinking about “human waste” to the poem enscribed on the Statue of Liberty by Emma Lazarus.

(Author’s Note:  Note her last name of “Lazarus” which signifies Jesus’ miracle of bringing life to the dead—See previous blog “What’s in a Name”).  

In America we WELCOME and PROTECT the “tired”, the “poor”, the “huddled masses”, the “wretched refuse”.

So…to sum up:  the “mother” of Planned Parenthood describes humanity (especially the poor, black and underprivileged and disabled) as:

Morons, imbeciles, malignant social diseases, choking human undergrowth, feeble-minded, spawn, mentally defective, physically defective, human waste, dependent, surplus and, therefore, DISPOSABLE.  And, of course, she, in her superior wisdom, would let us know WHO among us fell into these categories due to her incredible intellect.  She and her ilk are the height of human AUDACITY.  (Now where have we heard that word before?)   

While on the Cross, Jesus spoke to the disciple John and said “Behold your mother”.  He was referring to Mary as a “spiritual mother”.  Of course, in everything Godly, there is an evil counterfeit.   

I think we need to turn to Planned Parenthood today and say the same thing:

“Behold your Mother of Abominations”

This title was written on her forehead: MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

 it is really in the realm of unbelievable that this woman is heralded by Planned Parenthood as some sort of Patron Saint for women.  I cannot think of anything more abominable…only perhaps that the majority of African-Americans have been bamboozled into supporting this detestable organization of black genocide.

Yet even with all this readily abundant information, written and promulgated in her own words, Planned Parenthood HONORS Margaret Sanger on their website:

Planned Parenthood is rooted in the courage and tenacity of American women and men willing to fight for women's health, rights, and equality. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, is one of the movement's great heroes. Sanger's early efforts remain the hallmark of Planned Parenthood's mission.

Women's progress in recent decades — in education, in the workplace, in political and economic power — can be directly linked to Sanger's crusade and women's ability to control their own fertility.

Really?  Seriously?...  They must be completely color blind.

What's In a Name?

When I was a young child I loved digging around in the dirt.  When I am reminded by a family member of this childhood pastime, I am always surprised anew.  Today I have a major “yuck factor” regarding creepy crawly things—go figure.  In those early days, we had a slate patio in our backyard.  It was my fairly common routine to lift up the rocks and see all the slimy bugs hanging out just barely beneath the surface.  As soon as the critters sensed the sunlight, they would instantly wiggle and slither their way deeper into the dirt to avoid the light and detection.  As a child, I guess I really enjoyed the realization that there was so much more to my world than just the one-dimensional surface view.    

Today I still like digging—but in the spiritual sense of the word.  I’ve always been fascinated by the hidden meanings in the Bible if you just have the patience to “dig” long enough.  Rarely is anything in the Bible “one-dimensional”.  Once you start understanding this concept, that the Bible is “prismatic” and so much more than a rote book of storytelling—it literally comes to life with meaning and application to everyday events.  Along these lines, there are many, many instances in the Bible where God changed someone’s name.  Now, I got to wondering…if God changed people’s names so often, names must be very important and meaningful in the scheme of things.   Here are just two of the more famous examples:

Old Testament:  Abram means “Exalted Father”.  God gave him a spiritual upgrade to Abraham—which means “father of many nations”.  So apparently, even his birth name gave a clue to his special purpose in life.  His encounter with God fulfilled his early promise.  Abraham is really Abram on steroids—if you will pardon my modern day connotation.    

New Testament:  Saul means:  “responded” or “prayed for”.  If you are a student of the Bible, you know that Saul, a persecutor of the early Christian Church, was knocked off his “high horse” by Jesus appearing to him from heaven asking “Saul, Saul…why dost thou persecute me?”  Apparently, Saul responded by accepting Christ and was “prayed for” to regain his sight by Ananias.  Read Acts 9 for the full account.  (As a side note:  “gaining his sight” was both literal and figurative as he was filled with the understanding of the Holy Spirit after this prayer—the one True interpreter for all spiritual revelation).  After his conversion, Saul became known as “Paul” which means “small, humble”.  This small, humble man responded to God’s call and eventually wrote 2/3rds of our New Testament.  He can arguably be called the most influential person in the history of Christianity.

Once again we see someone whose birth name had a special meaning and, after an encounter with God, an even deeper meaning.   

 Since I came upon this revelation, I’ve been shocked and delightfully surprised many, many times at the correlation people have to their name.  I believe if you find your Godly purpose in life, your name literally “comes alive”.  On the dark side…I’ve found evil people also live “down” to their name as well.

As I was working on an upcoming blog for the history of Planned Parenthood, the founder’s name “Margaret Higgins Sanger” caught my eye.  As I love to study word roots, I immediately noticed that her last name has a Latin foundation.  Every good student of Latin knows “Sang” has a correlation to blood.  (This is where the word “Sanguine” comes from).  With a bloody beginning clue, I thus began my research with some trepidation.  Here is what her name literally means:

Margaret:  Margaret has a long and rich history.  It means “pearl” (so far sounds good, right?).  The pearl in history has been the symbol of “feminine wisdom” (hmmmm….).  Popularity of the name began with St. Margaret, a saint in the Catholic Church who was known as the “Patron of Expectant Mothers” (now there’s something interesting).  She was martyred in the 14^th Century for practicing her faith (getting a bit creepy) and many accounts say she was executed while pregnant (getting VERY creepy).   

Higgins:  Literally means “hard ruler”.  (Authors note:  By the way, name meanings are easy to look up in the many Internet search name/surname databases.  Feel free to check any of this data).   

Sanger:  As mentioned, the Latin root meaning is “bloody”.

So…to put her name into some kind of a translated context—it means:
Bloody, hard ruler of Expectant Mothers based on human (not God's) reasoning.  (shudders). 

Coincidence or Divine Knowledge? ...

                                                      Name it what you will.

Murder is OK--Relatively Speaking

I’ve often been accused of being a very dichotomous-minded person, philosophically speaking.  That is, I tend to see things as clearly on either side of the spectrum.  Nothing is “50 Shades of Grey” to me anymore.  Moral choices, once dissected, are either plainly wrong or obviously right.  We have loads of justifications that we throw in the mix, but that doesn’t change the bottom line.  Decisions grounded by a moral compass are not always perfect when decided by fallible mankind, but they are definitely more just.  

One of the many “bad fruits” of Human Secularism, in my opinion, has been “Truth Relativism”.  Truth relativism is the reluctance to acknowledge that anything is either “right or wrong”.  According to Truth relativism—morality depends on the individual situation.  This is in direct opposition to Judeo-Christian teaching which clearly indicates that there are many things that are deemed always right and always wrong.  For instance, the Bible tells us that lying is always wrong.  It’s one of the 10 commandments.  Thou Shalt NOT is pretty clear—no “shades of grey” there.  Now…I can almost hear the coming refutation from people today.  The usual examples of truth relativism go something like this:

Well...if you were hiding Jews in your attic and the Nazis knocked on your door would you LIE? 

To be completely honest (pardon the intentional pun), a short while ago I probably would have said “Yes—go ahead and lie to the rotten Nazis”.  However, the root problem is that when we are LYING we are not RELYING on God.  Once we remove God from the equation, then Truth becomes problematic. God IS Truth. 

For the example given above, let’s look at the other options instead of lying:

a)      pray for divine protection (numerous examples of this in the Bible)

b)      offer no response (Jesus was silent before his accusers)

c)      give a non-answer such as “Is there a problem officer”?  Jesus, when asked if he was King of the Jews, simply answered—“It is as you say”. 

d)      all of the above

You see, LYING says “I am in control of the situation”.   Trusting in God to handle the situation is WAYYYYYYY more effective.

There is a story, interestingly enough from Nazi Germany, about just such an issue.  A young man was on a train out of the country while attempting to assist others in escaping from certain death in a concentration camp.  A German SS officer came up to him demanding answers.  One of the questions was:  “Why are you on this train?  By who’s authority”?  The young man answered:   “I am here on the authority of the Highest-most power”.  To which the SS Soldier simply looked frightened and walked away with no further inquiries.  I love this story.  It encourages me to be obedient when I am tempted to take the lazy, lying, non-truth way out.    

So now we come to the truth about abortion.  In the U.S. we have been believing and supporting a BIG LIE.  Abortion is murder—plain and simple.  Yet many Christians defend abortion in certain situations as dupes of Truth Relativism.  What if the mother’s life is in danger?  How about rape and incest?  What if the child is deformed in some manner?  We so often hear the phrase “slippery slope”.  Well in just one short generation, Americans have “slipped” from abortions performed only in the most dire of circumstances to sanctioning partial birth abortions, “designer-baby” sex-selection abortions and 90% of all Down’s Syndrome babies being aborted.  We are morally no different than the Nazi’s who began “cleansing” their society of supposed deformities and ended up killing people because they had a harelip.  Clueless Christians have been complicit in “greasing” this slide by buying into the Truth Relativism arguments. 

Oh—I know…I’m going to get the usual liberal arguments about supposedly hypocritical conservatives causing death by war and capital punishment.  However, these points of view actually BOLSTER this argument.  The Bible clearly indicates the difference between innocent life and non-innocent life.  Today we have it exactly BACKWARDS.  We blithely kill the innocent and protest in the streets to protect the guilty.  Once again…there is no Biblical foundation whatsoever in these positions.  Just what mankind thinks is right or wrong and we know from history how well that turns out.

There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

In American law, “ignorance of the law” is no defense.  Today, we are ignorant of God’s laws and, trust me, there is NO defense.  When we, as Americans, liberally donate money to “Save the Whales”, prohibit clubbing of baby seals, support PETA and Animal Shelters, etc.--WE HAVE NO DEFENSE whatsoever before God when it comes to sanctioning the murder of innocents on the altar of convenience.  Furthermore, God not only plainly tells us this is wrong, he even did us the favor of laying out the punishment for breaking this law and it is not pleasant:

Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.

~Genesis 9:6

Do not pollute the land where you are.  Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.”

Son of man, will you judge her?  Will you judge this city of bloodshed?  Then confront her with all her detestable practices…O city that brings on herself doom by shedding blood in her midst…You have become guilty because of the blood you have shed…You have brought your days to a close, and the end of your years has come.

Even our American history, just a short 150 years ago, offers up a clear example of the penalty exacted for the persecution of innocents through slavery.  The Civil War slavery penalty on the nation was harsh.  Historians estimate around 600,000 Americans were slain in the Civil War.  Interestingly, ship manifolds suggest that approximately 600,000 slaves were shipped into the U.S. in the ugly slave trade industry (see chart below from Wikipedia):

Evidently, God demands one for one.  Such is the importance of human life in His eyes.

"If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her…then thou shalt give life for life,"

Even President Abraham Lincoln, a very Godly, praying man, suggested this penalty was exactly true:

“Yet, if God wills that it continue until…every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn with the sword.”

Once you acknowledge that every life has EQUAL worth—or, in other words, shine the light of TRUTH on these questions—there is only ONE correct answer.  Of course, you should not murder another person simply because it may be convenient for someone else.  The thinking only gets “muddy” or “grey” when God’s perfect truth is out of the equation and we trust our own faulty reasoning.  Eventually, as in the United States today, we end down a horribly ugly and evil pathway.  Then, everything is “relative”—even murder.       

So what will America’s penalty be for the murder of SIXTY MILLION innocent children? 

I don’t know, but like the Civil War…it’s probably all relative.

Lately there has been a rash of crackpot shootings by a handful of insane people wielding weapons.  Two most notable are the Aurora movie shooter and the Sikh Temple assault.  Whenever there is innocent loss of life, especially random murders for the sake of sheer homicidal gratification, it is a cause for serious concern.  However, the backlash for these atrocities seems to be a renewed attack on our Constitutional rights—most specifically our right to bear arms in the Second Amendment.  I guess it almost seems logical to step up gun restrictions in light of these recent acts of carnage.  But before we “throw out the baby with the bath water”, let’s review history.  Just like the old saying:  “those who do not study history are doomed to repeat it”—let’s go to the history books.  Today, with the Internet information readily available to almost everyone, let’s research the #1 offender on the mass murder “Hit Parade” shall we?

Ready?...  Let’s play “Jeopardy!” (good analogy here).

Question:  What is “GOVERNMENT” for $800 dollars Alex?

Answer:  The #1 cause of mass murders in all of recorded history.

Question:  What is “SOCIALIST, MARXIST OR COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT” for $1000 Dollars Alex?

Answer:  The #1 type of government responsible for the worst mass murders in all of recorded history.

By now you’ve probably heard the brouhaha over Obama’s “Forward” campaign slogan.  Yes, it is dubious in light of the fact that the word “Forward” has been used in numerous Socialist, Marxist and Communist regime propaganda.  Here’s just a few:

Vorwarts! (Forward in German from Nazis—also known as Germany’s National SOCIALISTS party

Vpered! (Soviet word for Forward)

Forward to victory! (Lenin)

Great Warriors Forward to the West! (Russian WWII poster)

Let’s march forward under the banner of Mao Zedong! (Propaganda in the People’s Republic of China)

Obama’s defenders will say that “Forward” is a common word used in many places, not just Communist or Marxist campaigns.  However, why choose this questionable word at all?  There are only two logical conclusions to draw:

1) the Obama campaign advisers are extremely ignorant (hard to believe no one was consulted or researched the use of this slogan) or

2) they actually want to make a sly correlation between their campaign and Socialist/Communist philosophies. 

 Either way: it’s disturbing and something the American voting public should sit up and take serious note of.  Even more disconcerting, perhaps the use of this word just flows naturally from the evil lodged in their hearts and even they don’t recognize its horrible significance.

Our Founding Fathers enshrined specific rights into our Constitution for very good reasons.  They knew that abridging any of these rights eventually results in tyrannical governmental abuse.  The Second Amendment gun rights debate is just one of many American rights that are being challenged under this current Socialist-leaning administration.

So, the next time you think a little socialism is all about being compassionate and caring for your fellow man—think about history and speculate what our American future might look like:
